The process consisted of three stages namely
Group task, psychometric test and PI.
Group task:
A predefined group of 8 students was made to sit for the Group Task
that lasted for about 10 minutes.
The number of moderators was 3. 2 minutes were provided
to students to think on the topic and then they were asked to start the
discussion. The sitting pattern was rectangular. The group was not
provided with a paper to jot down essential points. Before the start of
the discussion the moderators gave instructions about the group task.
Sample Group Task:
The group was supposed to make some fishes out of paper. A table was
given to them by which they had to calculate cost of raw material,
selling price, profit etc and forecast the profit that they would make.
The moderators initially give a demonstration of the whole exercise.
After the exercise the group were again asked to calculate the actual
profit that they made and compare it with the estimates.
Psychometric Test:
The test had 50 questions to be solved in 15 min.
Personal Interview:
The panel consisted of three members and the
interview generally lasted for 15-20 minutes in some case a stress
interview was conducted. The folder carried by the candidate was
