The personality assessment procedure of MFC consists of a GD followed by a personal interview.

Group Discussion:

The topics of GD are a mix of general to technical.The topic is allotted through the lottery system and the seating arrangement is rectangular. Initially the moderators give 2 minutes to think on the given topic and 20 min to discuss. The number of participants in the GD is 11-16. The number of moderators is 4-6. Before the start of the GD, the panel announces the instructions to be followed during the GD. The moderators also interrupt the GD if there is a fish market situation.

GD Topics:

1. Reservation in government jobs should be banned.
2. Business is all about you and me.
3. Should space research be funded?
4. Reservation of women in the parliament.
5. The benign face of police force.
6. Are doctors above the Law?
7. India Shining or India whining?
8. Education and success go hand in hand.

Interview:

The panel for GD and PI was different and panel had 3-5 members. Interviews lasted for 10-15 minutes.

The questions asked in the interview were generally directed towards Finance. Also questions on why MFC and career goals were asked to almost all the candidates. Questions on work experience were also asked. Very few candidates were asked questions on personal profile.
