Interview Feedback:

The PI at XLRI lasted for 25-35 minutes. There were separate panels for the two courses - PM&IR and BMD. The panel generally had 3 members from different backgrounds. In some cases the panel members tried to create stress for the candidates.

Questions:

  1. Introduce yourself.
  2. Why do you want to do MBA in HR?
  3. How will you invest money in shares?
  4. What are Mutual funds?
  5. What is the difference between C & C++?
  6. How will you design an interface in VB?
  7. What is Microprocessor?
  8. What was your favourite subject in graduation? (followed by questions on the same)
  9. Questions on Operation research and its concept.
  10. Why don't you work for 2 yrs and then try for MBA?
  11. What others call did you get apart from XLRI?
  12. How does the sensex function?
  13. What do you feel about the disinvestments of public sector?
  14. Should India spend more on defence?
  15. Questions on the information provided by the candidates in the form.
  16. Why XLRI?
  17. What are your interests and hobbies?
  18. What are your strengths & weaknesses?
  19. Did you ask the candidates before you what they were asked?
  20. What is encryption?
  21. Speak one minute on the topic ‘Do women make better managers than men?'
  22. What is PM & IR?
  23. Are strikes ethical?
  24. How is BCA going to help you to become a successful HR manager?
  25. Qs on hobbies                  
  26. Why is your score less in GK, any specific reasons?
  27. Where do you see yourself 5 yrs hence?
  28. Why do you think you are good for HR?
  29. How are the policies in HR made?
